Bubbles floated past the line of parade viewers
Post 448 American Legion arrived next
His tiny flag was ready to challenge all
Cheers for Life of San Francisco
They were held high above the street
The Elite cheerleaders next followed
Native Americans made their way gracefully
The pink feather boa caused a moment of amusement
The San Francisco Sheriffs Department
Police Chief Heather Fong marched too
The mayor was there surrounded by press
Mayor Newsom and his girlfriend Jennifer Siebel waved
Mayor Newsom gave a great thumbs up
Marriage Equality followed the Mayor
Paul and Ray, 7 years!
They were thrilled by the photographer
Yes, his partner was the Statue of Liberty
Yes, that's right, 20 years together
Married, they proudly waved
Two young women, a freshly married couple
Proud dogs walked with their married friends
The Mark Leno supporters marched next
Enthusiastic in a rainbow wig
One dog in a Leno shirt marched too
Assemblyman Leno smiled to the crowds
The ACLU walked the parade too
A gay couple in gay shirts walked hand in hand
Freewheelers Car Club was next to motor past
A jeep is not vintage, but what the heck
The vintage cars drove in formation
A grand old touring car drove past
A passenger photographed the photographers
A fine old jalopy in great shape
Another fine touring car rolled down the street
And don't forget that big smile from the driver

Kids with families marched together
She waved a cheerful rainbow flag
They wore their hats while in the wagon
She wisely wondered if she could really fly
They happily posed with their dog
The dogs were decked out in bridal outfits
A tough-looking dog with a pink poodle skirt

The baton was thrown high
He posed before his next throw
His throw was so high it left the photograph
He made a great twirl, spin, and toss
He held up his hand to signal a brief pause
A quick gulp of water just before playing
Big himself, he played a big base drum
The tuba player dribbled bubbles

One kid kicked high with enthusiasm
One slept while another bicycled
He needed to be reassured before waving
It was a great flag to wave

She was for peace and so was her dog
A peace symbol on her cheek and a bucket of bubbles

They marched wearing very nice masks
She held up a Black Power sign
He looked very dapper in the perfect hat
They waved happily from atop the float

His dog was about to be hidden by a balloon
His hair was his hallmark that day
Fortunately the rainbow chains were plastic

He appeared to be very proud to be marching
They smiled at the crowds from the school bus
She wore rainbow beads in her hair
They wore hats and crowns that day

The band played on the float
She carried a hula hoop but didn't always us it
She reached up to adjust her crown
They wore matching poodle skirts
She waved a Barbie Doll
He posed with a pucker
Kaiser's float feature a fake dog
Two doctors exhibited an artificial dog
A dapper dog rode on a bench
She blew a blue horn to celebrate
Her pink hair didn't quite measure up
As many balloons as people marched
They rushed to get back to their float

She used two branches to create a bit of shade
He searched for someone's eyes to light his candle
He was strapped in and ready to hop
A pink parasol protected him from the sun
He used a megaphone to speak loudly

A fake Governor held a hundred dollar bill
Her fake hair was huge and red
Wide yellow hair with a crystal tear
His mirrored glasses reflected a fellow officer
Her goggles and umbrella protected her from snow
Fake snow blasted from the back of the float
The folks from Macys were there too
The Frog Queen was resplendent that day
He was yodeling while walking

She held onto her mother's arm
It was the glasses much more than the hat
They romped joyfully in masks

They all wore an identical t-shirt
An old-timey coach under an inflated rainbow
He was dancing to a heavy beat

He half waved from under a parasol

His tasseled hat lent a festive air
They hugged while riding in a convertible
He proudly held a banner

Marching while wearing a very fancy hat

He brandished a serious bubble gun
She had a great time singing
He walked while carrying a bubble machine
Clearly his ammo was running low
She rode on the back of a faux cable car
Bubbles, bubbles everywhere
She enjoyed her company so much she smiled at her

That made it a two-dog day

She skated in a fine pink hat
He bubbled very delicately
Her hair shaded the other performers
He flaunted his starring role
She held up a Dreams Come True Banner
She wore her crown proudly
He pretended to be a delivery man
They were buff on the back of that truck
His grey hair did not mean he was old
He wore that tough guy look well
They marched in bright costumes
His beak made a good point
They marched from many countries
Gratemala and Honduras were represented too
The United States was a country too
He ran his flag through the street
No surprise but the countries were in alphabetical order
The man from Puru wore a mask and wings

He was a tough, but fair nurse
They tossed goodies to the crowds
The house of Garza and Grupo Samba Rio
He used a tall staff when walking
He was not sure he trusted that pink hair following
The parade prepared to get underway
Some participants arrived by BART
Balloons arrived displaying a sea theme
Two masked youths lead the way
