Crossing was busy despite lack of cross walks
They awaited a bus by a closed market
The corner coffee shop provided a Sunday hangout
And yes, an Irish Pub was there too
Tren Tico 59 transported tourists along the avenue
David shot the absolutely classic tree
Up a side street, beyond trash, was a mural
The Ministry of Justice was closed on Sunday
Calle 17, free of traffic, down from Parque Nacional
Yet another museum was closed that Sunday
A dog waited by a decorative mural
Bus stop was spotted while crossing Avenida 1
Avenida 1 ran one way down to the shopping areas
A city worker took a break to read the newspaper
A cityscape could be seen from Museo Nacional's balcony
The road passed over a closed rail line
Avenida Central ran the other way from shopping
Abandoned buildings line the old railway
The Costa Rican flag flew over the Ministry of Justice
Tribunales de Justicia were closed on Sunday
Pizza had a natural home near justice
A taxi drove under the railroad, past another mural
The very place to take one's sick dog
The side street was less busy on a Sunday
A "Green" house stood on one corner
Old and new peacefully abutted
Jan José had a winding road too
Mature trees lined the sidewalk
In one area, the sidewalk rose above the roadway
One building was oddly chopped
One way roads speed traffic past no parking
Local bus transport is plentiful and popular
Many roads were permanently closed to traffic
Some sold lottery tickets for a meager income
Candy and cigarettes were sold on street corners
The wide plaza was filled with children and birds
A clown delighted young and old alike
