Inside was empty except for tourists just before dawn
Just beyond the main entry, dawn began to awaken
Folks awaited departures under a large mural
The parking lot had not yet filled
At last, a souvenir store had opened
Wooden benches provided a choice of places to wait
Outside the day had finally begun
A LAN jet had just arrived
Helicopters were parked at the tarmac's edge
A small plane surrounded by cones was back-lit by dawn
The waiting area was finally beginning to fill
Fresh arrivals began to disembark
Next, the weary travelers began to board
